I chat to fellow Londoner Terry from East 17 who have released a Christmas single 'Merry Quitmas' aimed at getting the stop smoking message across. It's very light hearted and I play a bit of it in the interview, after playing a clip from their iconic number one hit from 1994 'Stay Another Day' which is played everywhere every Christmas of course!
Terry tells me how East 17 started back in the day, how 'Stay Another Day' came about and all about the big white coats in the video which nearly didn't get used.
He has some different and very valuable advice for fellow musicians too.
'Merry Quitmas' is available on iTunes and Amazon Music. All proceeds in aid of Cancer charities so get downloading! Thanks.
