Oh, what a collar adventure I have been on with multiple dogs!
They are all different (collars and dogs). What works for one, might not work for another.
Size, temperament, training, breed...they all play a part in answering the question: What collar works best to walk my dog?
I've been through them all! And in this episode of My Favorite B*tch (S01E012) I tell the tale of how I settled on the right walking collar for my dogs over the years.
As with many things, there is no definitive right or wrong answer on what collar to use. Any collar can be misused and cause pain or distress...any collar can be an effective tool in training and working your dog.
