Jason 'Red' Reynolds, a true American hero and amazing human, and I hang out on The High Line in NYC to talk about disaster tech, empathy, and how people can help before, during, and after a disaster event -- get a glimpse into what it was like to work as a part of grassroots/guerrilla/civilian navy groups (Cajun Navy, Texas Navy, Yeehaw Navy) saving lives during Hurricane Harvey -- and prepping to do the same for Hurricane Irma -- and how the MVP of his app (which, since recording this, I am now officially part of the the team) got expedited through the app store after he emailed Tim Cook (CEO of Apple) directly.
