The local airplane club invited the community for a peak into planes, from R/C to Cessnas to military. My cub scout troop went together. I got to go up in a small 4 seater, sitting in front of the controls. I was hooked. I had to make one. I had to know how worked. For years after that I read about planes, built planes (which never flew right) and planned on designing them when I grew up. It was the first time I was infected with the ‘virus’ of curiosity. Not good enough. Those are dangerous words. I now know, twenty years later, that giving up my dream because what they said was a major mistake that I am still paying for. b) Because it is Infinite. It always leads to a great conversation, and questions about why are we so fascinated by the Super Human. My Super Power for consideration today. The ability to speed up the functioning of your brain to give the feeling of slowly time down as we naturally do during stressful moments. This power, being super, would allow an infinite amount of think-bending of time so you could react to every emergency with perfect timing and planing . In addition, you could always come up with the witty comeback on the spot instead of five minutes late. Sounds fun. Your thoughts? Is there already a comic book character with this power? The closest I can think of: Professor Xavier can freeze time, right? I am no comic expert.
