Don Mclean reminded us all of the day the music died in 1959 when Richie Valens, Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper died in an airplane crash in Iowa.

Yet there was still some fun music made in 1959. Dave & Gene explore some Do Wop, Country, Instrumental, Novelty and Crooner songs from that year. Hear the Flamingos, Stonewall Jackson, Duane Eddy, Jack Scott (the first Canadian to make it big in the US), the Clovers and more.

Enjoy this latest blast from the past!
