The fifth guest on the the MNB Podcast is a Rewilding guru who loves to be in nature and move her body. Whether it is by sprint-dash-scream-grassing, dancing, or teaching yoga, Teela truly lives in her natural beet. She teaches others how to access and embody their human experience by using their humanity, body, and senses. While it sounds simple, in her work, Teela dives deeper and helps her clients get to the core of where they feel fear and where they might be holding onto restrictive beliefs.

Teela is a seeker who encourages us to ALWAYS follow our enthusiasm and to never ignore it - no matter how silly it seems to you or anyone else. When you follow your enthusiasm, your life seems to blossom! Her fundamental message is that you belong here and that "when we fully embrace our humanity we come home to ourselves, to our ancient body-wisdom, to our soul's voice, of being alive."

This episode is good for anyone interested in learning about rewilding, how to rewild themselves, and for anyone who has experienced Bell's Palsy. Teela shared with us what she learned from having Bell's Palsy in a foreign country and how it led her to have more body awareness than ever before.

How Teela explores

  • The world: She explores the world in an everyday way by doing what she can to have as much access to her human experience as possible and by making even the smallest things within her day an exploration of her humanity, her body, and her senses.
  • Her mind: As a writer getting into story and as a coach going deeper and deeper into the seed of fear and to be able to recognize the belief system where we are restricting ourselves. She is also a teacher of meditation.
  • Her body: Through yoga and being present, she loves to dance and feel the way that rhythm moves through her body and listening to that. She likes to make decisions from a place of body awareness and body alignment. She is a vegetarian and she loves to tune in and give her body what it needs and wants. Sensuality is important to her as well.
  • Her spirit: As a seeker, she likes to explore her spirit through creation in her writing and by following her enthusiasm, wherever that may lead her.

The one activity, habit, behavior that makes Teela feel in her Natural Beet is
being outside.
Bonus activity: If she has a tiny space where she can run as fast as she can then letting out a scream, and laying in the grass, the sprint-dash-scream- grass if you will.

Final words of wisdom:

If you feel any sort of enthusiasm, do not ignore it no matter how silly it seems to you or anybody else.

Follow that and that will be when life really starts to bloom for you.

Get into your body and follow your enthusiasm

You belong here. Once we can feel into that, things are exciting
