Hello my beautiful country in disarray,
This month has been absolutely devastating. It is unbelievable how much chaos the 45th president has created within his first week of being in office. Although his actions are downright despicable, I have to say it is absolutely beautiful to see Americans taking action, coming together, and standing up for one another. If these past couple weeks are any indication of the next four years, we definitely have our work cut out for us. Though I believe there's a light at the end of the tunnel and we can strengthen the solidarity of the American people.
Now that we live an alternate reality, full of bad tans, shitty hairdos, and sociopathic decision making, I'm sure you're wondering if NBR remains the same. Don't fret. The same bathroom humor, desecration of NPR, fly ass music that will raise your libido by 30 percent, and of course, stories from some of the industry's best remains.
This past month, I've been in NYC, sleeping on couches and making strategical moves Bobby Fisher would be proud of. During my stay, I attended the Women's March in NYC, which was spectacular. Looking at the numbers across the US was especially delightful. I was very pleased with the 200,000 in attendance in Denver CO. Great job hometown!
Mr. Aaron Lammer, member of Francis And The Lights and fellow podcast extraordinairee. Aaron tells a story of deception, taking place while on tour with Chance the Rapper. As well, he shares some terrific music you can't get anywhere else. It's an original version of a song that's on Francis And The Lights' album Farewell Starlite! as part of a medley called "Gospel OP1".
