Arthur Kononuk is the creative director and co-founder at Tentree, an environmentally progressive apparel brand that plants ten trees for every item purchased. The company’s hope is to inspire the younger generation to believe in their power as a consumer and ability to make a positive impact. Arthur is an Ontario-born multidisciplinary designer and visual artist. He studied advertising at OCAD University where he uncovered an innate ability to design and copywrite; landing him an art direction role at the ripe age of 24. His award-winning advertising industry experience led him down a path of brand development and strategic thinking where he honed his craft. Today he leads a team of designers and printmakers alike at Tentree's newly opened Vancouver office. When he's not working creative director hours, he can be seen shopping for pottery gems at thrift stores or riding his bike to the next craft brewery.
