What are you tolerating in your culture

A person may cause evil to others not only by his actions but by his inaction, and in either case he is justly accountable to them for the injury. ~ John Stuart Mill

Difficult conversations with difficult people are one of the most emotionally taxing areas of a business. No one wants to deal with people who have a crappy attitude and a lack of ownership for their behavior. If you are a leader, then embracing these conversations are a must. If you are unwilling to have these conversations, you aren't ready to lead people. You have a moral obligation to the stakeholders of the business to have difficult conversations.

In today's podcast I talk about why having difficult conversations builds and maintains the culture and values of a business. I walk through my four part process from my book, The Management Playbook, on how to have this difficult conversation as well.
