According to Statistics South Africa, more than four in every 10 young women were not only unemployed, but lacked education or training. These figures were tallied during the first quarter of 2020 and 2021. Now, Durban based NGO, OneVoice South Africa will be rolling out an "Entrepreneurship and Workplace Preparedness Training Initiative" for young women, that aims to address the employment skills gap. Programme trainer - Buhle Khake says over 1,000 young woman from TVET colleges in KwaZulu-Natal will be the first to participate in the training initiative...
