Welcome to a rousing edition of Next Fan Up. PodVader is joined by SuperFans Kevin (Cowboys), Andy (Dolphins), Rob (Bills), Ken (Chargers) and James (Eagles - trust me, he'll be there, he just joins late in the show) to talk about the latest NFL happenings. Which isn't much as the quiet period has arrived.
We kick off the show with a special guest - Eric Galko of OptimumScouting.com and the Sporting News. Eric defends the Chiefs draft pick of Patrick Mahomes. Pod still hates the pick, but admits, he may need to reconsider the value of a QB in today's NFL. Eric also mentions his 2018 Mock Draft featuring a very hyped up QB class.
The SuperFans weigh in on that QB hype for next season. They also discuss Doug Whalley's firing from Buffalo, Jamaal Charles signing with the Broncos and Ken weighs in on Marshawn Lynch to the Raiders. It has him questioning his fandom.The guys also rank the rookies and their fantasy value for the upcoming year. Pod fawns all over the Jaguars.
Finally, Ken has a rant.
