Alicia Gayson is the woman who took a homeless man into McDonald’s on O’Connell Street in Dublin today. Alicia bought the man, James, breakfast after she said he was beaten up as he slept outside the GPO.
Alicia asked the security guard if she could bring James into the restaurant. They allowed it this once but after the pair sat down to eat, the staff allegedly cordoned them off from the rest of the public. After they finished eating James was ejected quickly without force.
Listen to Alicia talk about the pain of James the homeless man and her thoughts on the actions of the McDonalds staff. McDonalds are still to release a statement on the incident.
