Er zijn diverse soorten nieuws en één daarvan is toch altijd weer het nieuws dat je persoonlijk raakt. Het soort nieuws waarbij je je kunt afvragen: ‘Hoe heeft dit kunnen gebeuren?’ De toeslagenaffaire is daar een voorbeeld van, maar ook de bijstandsaffaire, het onteigenen van boeren, de energiecrisis enz. Wij stellen de kritische vragen en blijven dossiers actief volgen, totdat er een acceptabele oplossing is. ‘Nieuws Dat Je Raakt!’ wordt wekelijks live uitgezonden via Regio8, op woensdagavond tussen 18:00 en 20:00 uur. Om de week verschijnt er een podcast met de meest spraakmakende fragmenten uit die uitzending. De presentatie wordt gedaan door Robin Prijs.
