As a young teen simply looking to fit in and feel more comfortable in his own skin, Keith started drinking and experimenting with drugs. He considered himself a social partier and never fell into the typical “bad crowd”; in fact he earned a full-ride scholarship to college. His habits continued even into young adult hood and he justified his addictive behavior by checking the boxes of having a good job, buying a house and all of the things that on the surface covered up his destructive behavior. After the death of his mother pushed him away from an already fragile relationship with God, Keith was soon faced with his own mortality and cried out to God for help. Our Heavenly Father met Him on the side of the road after a near-fatal car accident and showed Keith the 12-steps he needed to take to get sober and to start living the life He had intended for him. Now over 17 years sober, Keith has a successful business, a family and has found a passion and love for running and health. Hear how Keith has competed in some of the most difficult races in the country and how God has used running to grow his relationship with Him.
