Even though Bryan grew up in a home where faith was part of the family fabric, that didn't protect him from depression and suicidal ideations, even as a kid in elementary school. It wasn’t until he was 44 years old that he realized he wasn’t alone in his Persistent Depressive Disorder. Throughout his life, Bryan stayed close to God, grew in relationship with Him and experienced many blessings, but it didn’t take away the spiraling negative thoughts that Bryan believed was simply how he would have to endure life on earth. He prayed daily for the pain to go away and found people in his faith community sincere, but unhelpful. Eventually, with encouragement from his family, he finally realized that he needed to treat his medical condition with more than prayer. Through God’s grace and their continual growing relationship, Bryan now operates a successful business, has the tools he needs to be present with his family and is raising his boys as men of faith too.

Bryan's company, Apollos Partners, LLC is an Atlanta-based accounting and finance recruiting firm that seeks mutual success for both the business and the job seeker. At Apollos, they are committed to helping exceptional professionals and outstanding organizations find their best partner. For more information you can go to: Apollos Partners
