At the end of part 1, we left off right after discussing Manson’s release from prison in 1967 and he was headed to California to begin his life anew.
We've all heard about the Manson Family Cult...more commonly referred to as the Manson Family. But what do we actually KNOW about it? Other than the fact that Charles Manson formulated it and his followers killed for him? In a nutshell, we know that it was a desert commune and cult active in California during the late 1960's and early 1970's. The group consisted of about 60 confirmed followers...of whom lived a quite freeing or hippie-like lifestyle. THey would use hallucinogenic drugs habitually and many of the members were very young women. But what else is there to know? Let's find out, together!
In part 2, we will delve into the Manson Family Cult a bit more. We will learn who the key members were and what roles they had in the Family.
