This week's scripture focus is on four requirements of discipleship. Jesus first cautions followers to do nothing that would cause “these little ones to stumble.” He next requires followers to forgive all those who repent. In response to disciples request for their faith to be increased, Jesus uses the familiar illustration of the mustard seed. He finally uses the master/slave relationship to illustrates a disciple’s expectation for reward and praise for expected work. How these requirements play in the life of today’s church will be our scripture focus this week.
