An interview with legendary organist and lyricist Doug Carn, famous for recordings on the Black Jazz label like "Infant Eyes" and "Revelation", as well as his recent live release "My Spirit". Doug is appearing Sunday Jan 15th in Daytona at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, so he stopped by for a chat. We got pretty in depth, particularly about his early career. The man has quite a mind, and is fascinating to listen to. For info on the concert click here.
Jazz Greats airs every Tuesday on WFCF from 3-7 eastern (with a break at 5). You can tune in via iHeart by clicking here.
Thanks for stopping by! - DJ Kendo (Kenny MacKenzie)
