This week I’m talking to James McElearney. James did a BA in Economic Politics and Law in DCU.

He wrote his paper this year entitled , “The Politics of the Irish Constitution: An obstacle to Irish Unity?”.

His very detailed paper outlines the question of northern partition as it was written into Ireland’s first constitution in 1937 and the developments in constitutional politics since then. James who is a beacon of knowledge on the subject talks me through these details all the way up to Brexit which we are still dealing with now. Hope you enjoy!
