Debbie Aung Din Taylor is one of the principals in Proximity Designs, founded in 2004 with the commitment to bring social interest design to Myanmar’s underserved rural families.

Debbie explains to Baruch what Proximity Designs has been working on and how their projects are changing lives, in the areas of Farm Tech, Agronomy, Finance and Research.

This interview recorded on January 18, before the military coup in Myanmar. Since the coup there have been reports of repression, violence, and mass demonstrations. The internet was shut down within Myanmar, then reinstated after a large protest.
