In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio: In The Dark, we talk with Chad Schimke, horror author. Chad’s novel Secrets had been slated for release by Seventh Window Publications prior to the company going out of business in December 2015. He read at San Francisco’s Litcrawl (part of the Litquake festival) in 2014 and 2015. His short stories appeared twice in 2014 in Psychopomp special anthology issues via Artifice Comics, with Hallowseve appearing in the Halloween issue and Midwinter appearing in the Christmas issue.


He is the founding member of the Alabama Street Writer's Group, which has been meeting since July 2012. Prior to that he self-published three works of fiction in 2012 with an average rating of 4.5 stars. He has authored writing reference articles for Grammerly.com and CloudReviews.com.
Chad holds a total of three advanced degrees from the College of Santa Fe and San Francisco State University. He has a large social media following on Twitter and Blogger, including radio interviews, appearances, and guest blogging. You can often find him at a gallery opening in the San Francisco art scene. He is currently working on a short story collection tentatively entitled Horrordays. He is currently seeking the right publication partner for his novel and short story collection.
