Everything in 2020 has had to adapt to these historic times, and our region’s celebration of Arts Month has, too. In this episode, we explore those adaptations and new features of the campaign with the personalities leading them. Highlighted Arts Month projects include the new ArtsOctober.com, Arts Month’s theme weeks, the Litter Letter Project, Artist of the Day series, Community Conversations, and the Arts Month kickoff panel discussion “The Art of Social Justice” on Oct. 1.

We also enjoy a performance of aerial acrobatics from Emily Wegert of Aerial Aura. And we get an Arts Month pep talk from the Mayor of Colorado Springs, John Suthers, and Debbie Swanson from Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.

Remember, “have one new cultural experience (virtual or in-person) with friends or family this October!”
