When it comes to advising clients with prolapse about the do's and don’ts of exercise, for the FitPro, it can sometimes feel a bit awkward, can't it? Maybe someone somewhere has said to one of your POP clients "Don't lift your toddler", or "Using hand weights is an absolute no-no", or "Squats are best avoided" etc, and this advice sometimes makes you scratch your head, and even worse - it makes you question yourself as a pelvic floor specialist too, doesn't it? In this episode, Claire is sharing some past prolapse client case studies where these scenarios happened to her, and what strategies she applied to overcome them. Note: don't miss the best part of the episode, right at the end, where Claire delivers a statement that clarifies EXACTLY which exercises, activities, movements and/or sports your prolapse clients should avoid, so grab your earbuds, tune in now and enjoy!
