When it comes to seeing 1:1 clients virtually and/or teaching classes online, it can be really draining on your energy, can't it? If you've ever felt the need to decompress or literally lie down in a darkened room after a Zoom call, please know that you're not alone. Teaching anything online (regardless of the subject matter) requires a different skills set to seeing clients in-person. When it comes to teaching exercise online though - well, there's dead air time to fill in between reps, the constant movement you have to do back and forth between demonstrating an exercise and checking your screen to make sure your participants' technique is ok, and we can't NOT mention the constant lag or delay that happens every single time you're trying to have a conversation! In this week's episode of the Pelvicpreneur Podcast, Claire is here to share her experience of protecting her own physical and mental energy when showing up live; what Zoom calls she's tweaked so her clients get the best out of her every single time; and a whole host of useful tips on how you too can do the same. Pop your earbuds in now and enjoy!
