Nima King started practicing Wing Chun in Australia in Sifu Jim Fung’s Wing Chun Academy in 1998.

He came to Hong Kong in 2005 to continue his practice with Jim Fung’s master, Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin and continued to train under him fulltime for 9 years before he passed away in 2014.

Out of all the non-chinese disciples of Grandmaster Chu in the past 60 years, Nima has spent the most amount of hours training under him.

Even after his passing away, Nima still trains at Chu Shong Tin’s school and is one of the senior instructors there.

He is also on the board of directors of the 'Chu Shong Tin Alumni' which was set up by Grandmaster Chu himself to ensure his teachings is preserved and passed on after he passed away.

Nima has been teaching Wing Chun for close to 15 years and founded his school 'Mindful Wing Chun' located in Hong Kong in 2009.
