  • Two people are dead and three others are wounded after police say a disgruntled worker opened fire inside a linen store in Chester, Delaware County. At least one of those injured is in critical condition. KYW Newsradio’s Justin Udo has the details.

  • An 11-year-old boy is in custody after police say he pulled out a gun and fired at a house in Bristol Township, Bucks County. The incident happened Tuesday a half-mile from Ben Franklin Middle School, prompting the school to switch to remote learning. KYW Newsradio’s Vik Raghupathi has more.

  • Mayor Cherelle Parker hopes to open wellness centers citywide to address the opioid epidemic, but her first attempt has run into opposition. A City Council committee on Wednesday advanced a bill that would prohibit the city from continuing to lease a North Philadelphia building where services have recently been expanded. KYW Newsradio City Hall bureau chief Pat Loeb reports.

  • Under actions taken this week by the Murphy administration, New Jersey pharmacies can now provide hormonal contraceptives over the counter without a prescription. KYW Newsradio Community Impact Reporter Racquel Williams explains.
