This week Brendan Frye, Phil Brown, Jordan Biordi, and Lisa Mior take a look at some of the newest information to come out of Nintendo, Quantic Dream, and Hollywood. First up, the team explores Nintendo's Switch Sales in December. Having outsold both the PlayStation 4 and XBox One in terms of units moved, it appears that the success Nintendo's newest console is continuing to rise as we move forward into 2018. On Wednesday, Nintendo announced it's newest peripheral for the Switch, the Nintendo Labo. The Labo combines cardboard kits with the Nintendo Switch to create a unique new type of interactive gameplay. The team goes through some of the features included in the Labo, pricing, and release. After recent reports of racist, sexist, and homophobic working conditions that affected employees of Quantic Dream, the studio behind Heavy Rain and the upcoming Detroit: Become Human, Studio Founder David Cage and Executive Producer Guillaume de Fondaumière have come forward in response. Unfortunately, it's not the response anyone hoped for. Remember the demand for a Director's Cut of Justice League? Phil and the team talk about how Warner Bros. has answered that prayer...just not any way anyone asked for. In reviews, Phil talks about 12 Strong, the latest in a long line of war films along the same tone as American Sniper. He also talks about Liam Neeson's latest action flick, The Commuter, and finally the bizarre but engrossing documentary, The Road Movie. Phil also gives his thoughts on Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition and Jordan talks about Kirby Battle Royale.
