TAKE AWAY FROM SUNDAY’S MESSAGE:

In the book of Acts, the disciples were commanded to wait until they were empowered with the Holy Spirit in order to accomplish God’s purpose. This is reinforced when the disciples chose those to wait on tables, they chose men full of the Holy Spirit. The most menial of tasks required God’s empowerment because the Kingdom of God is far greater than our job title, our God-given assignment is not limited by our title. Are you living and leading from a position of empowerment or out of your own strength?

A spirit-filled leader: 1) Is available to the Lord to whatever or wherever the Lord may lead. 2) Is a channel for manifestation of God’s power. 3) Has a passion to know the Word of God. 4) Is not overwhelmed by persecution and threats. 5) Is not filled with fear. 6) Looks like their Lord.

The only time God cannot use you is when you say “God cannot use me”.

Believing is believing!

To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with Christ.

KEY VERSES: Acts 6:1

LIBRARY: The library is completely cataloged on the computer. This means that you can find any book or bible study by searching the library computer which is located to the right of the fireplace. You can search by author, title or subject and the results will tell you where to find the book. We have some excellent books, like The Heavenly Man, by Chinese author Brother Yun. His story of persecution for sharing the Gospel in China is amazing, and he is much like the “Whack a Mole” game, popping back up again to share Jesus.
