- Disney Infinity “Discontinued”

- By now you may have heard the news that we have made the difficult decision to discontinue production of Disney Infinity. From the beginning, Disney Infinity was built for you--our fans--and I wanted to take a moment to thank you not just for your support over the years, but for creating a community that made Disney Infinity more than just a game.
Our goal for Disney Infinity was to bring the best of Disney storytelling to life in homes around the world, and with your support we accomplished that. We hope you had as much fun playing the game as we had making it.
- By now you may have heard the news that we have made the difficult decision to discontinue production of Disney Infinity. From the beginning, Disney Infinity was built for you--our fans--and I wanted to take a moment to thank you not just for your support over the years, but for creating a community that made Disney Infinity more than just a game.
- No updates for months
- Avalanche Software, the Utah-based studio responsible for Infinity. As a result, around 300 people will lose their jobs.
- There will be two new Disney Infinity releases in May and June before the series ends for good: one based on Alice Through The Looking Glass, and a second from Finding Dory.
- Disney boss Bob Iger said that “the risk had caught up with” his company and that they were pleased with the success of the first Disney Infinity, but sales went downhill after that.

Star Wars Battlefront sequel coming 2017 and will have new movie locations (Ep7+8). Battlefront sold 14 million. Need For Speed coming 2017 (Ghost Games) they made the last two.
Visceral Games Star Wars title coming calendar year 2018.
NBA Live skipping 2016 no new title till 2017.

3. Tons of studios offered to purchase Lionhead and the Fable IP. Microsoft refused to sell the IP along with Lionhead studios. Microsoft planning on continuing the Fable Franchise? How long will it rest? Studio director that left in 2011 revealed hard R rated fable 4 pitch that was rejected by Microsoft.
What company would you like to see work on Fable if Microsoft allowed.
