Sherri Beachfront Lewis was diagnosed HIV positive in 1987 after a routine blood test for her marriage license. She was one of the first women to be diagnosed with HIV in the United States and still be alive and well. In the past 20-plus years, Sherri has worked with and coordinated numerous HIV/AIDS research and advocacy effort. LIVING OUT LOUD is an Entertainment Talk Show including a live band & focusing on celeb causes, authors,musicians, alternative healing, nutrition and ordinary people doing extraordinary things. From non-profits to red carpet events. After hosting 60 podcasts for Here Networks Straight Girl In A Queer World I interviewed a variety of guests from Jasmine Guy to Greg Louganis to live for Macy's Passport, Project Angel Food. As Sherri Beachfront lead singer of the 80's pop group GET WET I performed on American Bandstand, Solid Gold, The Merv Griffin Show, and MTV. Performing for Sheryl Lee Ralph's non profit DIVAS Simply Singing and Broadway CARES Equity Fights AIDS, I got to do it all. I have been in recovery & living with HIV for 25 years! As an activist, counselor, writer, public speaker & entertainer, I want to de-stigmatize living with HIV simply by transcending it. Living in the mainstream & living my dreams.
