With a resume that includes Genesis, Tears for Fears, Spock’s Beard, Big Big Train, and more, Nick D’Virgilio needs no introduction. Nick is a highly talented drummer and vocalist, but also a terrific songwriter, frontman, guitarist, husband and father. As a member of the highly acclaimed Big Big Train, Nick came to Proglodytes Radio to talk a little bit about the new album Grand Tour, but also gave us some insights into his time growing up in California, his history with music, his friendship with Kevin Gilbert, his favorite Spock’s Beard drumming moments, what it’s like to work at Sweetwater, his favorite prog (and non prog) bands, and more!

Intro music intro provided by Advent Horizon. (Song: “Invasion Theorem”)
