Psalm and Prayer

So many people proudly proclaim, “You can trust me.” But then never deliver. God will not only deliver, But will have you triumph over your troubled times. Our message today, When you teach a child to ride a bike, At first you’re right next to them holding the bike. Then as they start to take off, You move a few steps back. That’s what God is doing in your life right now. But first our question of the day: What does deliverance mean? A word we hear often in the bible And especially in the book of psalm. To deliver means To rescue, Liberate or redeem The God we serve will deliver us And that’s our message today. In times of real need, It might seem like God has disappeared. Be really, He just took a few steps back. He does this to build our faith in Him as he is busy working on our behalf. Don’t wrestle with your thoughts. Remember how you praised Him when times were good. With shouts of joy, Knowing that you were under His protection. When times are bad, The Lord continues to listen to your words. He will bring light in your eyes And will provide shelter in Him. Even as your enemies rejoice And think they have beaten you, Continue to rejoice. Put your trust in God And He will not put you to shame. If you put your trust in The Lord, You will be like a tree next to a stream. Mighty and strong. Take joy in your deliverance from danger.
