In 2016, the year that will live in infamy as the worst year ever for everyone, Kelsea found herself single for the first time in her life at 33. Suddenly faced with the prospect of actually dating and not Uhaul-ing it with her best friends, Kelsea quickly realized how awkward this can be for a queer, poly, frat boy femme in a tiny city!
Join Kelsea, her best friend, Maggie, and Kelsea’s roommate, Lindsey, for a few drinks as they discuss Kelsea’s most recent dating adventures in Portland, go on feminist rants, and talk about life in a small city, where everyone knows everyone and their business. Meet Kelsea’s needy dog, Zelda, be astonished by our knowledge of Drake lyrics, and submit your most awkward dating stories to us, to be read on the podcast!
Pursuing Portland’s goal is never to make fun of Kelsea’s dates, but rather to point out how awkward Kelsea is. To this end, Pursuing Portland will never make fun of a date’s physical appearance, they will always use a code name for their dates, and they will always respect a date’s sexuality, gender identity, and preferred pronouns.
