Welcome to the first episode of Qtr Time for 2022, the UK's ultimate netball podcast covering all things netball in the UK and beyond! This season we are so excited to be partnered with Carbon Jacked.
This episode is the first in our two-part mini-series covering the 2022 Quad Series between the Vitality Roses, Origin Diamonds, Silver Ferns and Spar Proteas. We take a look at how all four nations are shaping up ahead of the series, and give our predictions for standout players and which teams we think will be taking home the silverware.
We hear from two key figures about how their sides are shaping up. Firstly we chat to the South African national coach Dorette Badenhorst about life in the SA camp, how they are hoping to adjust with key international players missing, and the impact of the pandemic on their preparations ahead of this key test series. Finally, we have a fascinating interview with New Zealand’s World Cup winning coach Dame Noeline Taurua, where we discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the Silver Ferns and their journey since the disastrous Commonwealth Games in 2018.
You will not want to miss this one - take a listen!
Stay tuned for Part 2 of our mini-series featuring key names from the England and Australian setups, to be released next week.
