Prescott Police Department Officer David Fuller announced the department will be participating in a Summer Street Safety campaign in order to help traffic issues regarding speed and aggressive driving with the increased activity in town.
The release stated the Prescott Police Department partnered with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, Department of Public Saftey, Prescott Valley Police, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office and Chino Valley Police Department to embark on specialized traffic enforcement.
According to the release, starting June 19th through June 23rd, the Prescott Police Department and other area agencies will have extra dedicated resources to combat traffic issues while other resources will work education and enforcement techniques in high frequency accident areas. In addition, the release stated others will operate in high complaint areas.
