There are very few with the same expertise in, and passion for, educational research and policy here in the UK as Ben Gadsby. We're very lucky to have welcomed him to the show for this episode.
Ben is Head of Policy & Research at Impetus: a wonderful UK-based charity that transforms the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by ensuring they get the right support they need to succeed in school, in work and in life. And Ben is also an Associate Fellow at Bright Blue: a liberal conservative think tank who create and vet government policy.
Ben’s experience here was supplemented by his work on the first rounds of the National Tutoring Programme and he has also worked as a Policy Officer at Teach First and as an Education Researcher supporting MPs and their staff with key education policy issues as part of the Policy Research Unit.
