IN STARCRAFT 2 NEWS (1:35:40)

Blizzcon begins next Friday, which means the WCS Championship Brackets have been made and locked in for the event. 16 of the best Starcraft 2 players in the world get ready to play in the biggest tournament in the world. The Round of 16 will be played this Sunday, while the rest of the tournament will continue at Blizzcon.

The lineup for the Round of 16 is as follows

and Maru vs Rogue

The Korean eSports Association (KeSPA) caught and banned 3 figures in professional eSports earlier this month for match fixing. The illegal activity by player YoDa, player BBoongBBoong and coach Gerrard, from Team Prime, was reported to KeSPA by “an anonymous source seeking a reward.” 12 other people have been indicted on charges of match fixing but only YoDa and Gerrard have been announced and received bans from KeSPA.

IN DOTA 2 NEWS (1:37:28)

The Dream League is a month into its matches with Alliance proving to be the better team, as of right now, with 7 points. Below them in the standings is Vega, Monkey Freedom Fighters, and Empire with 6 points. Following them in the standings is 4C&L with 4 points, NLG with 3 points, and (monkey) and NiP with 2 points respectively.

The Starladder tournament is having its group stages across all regions right now. The largest competing region, Europe, has 4 groups with teams Vega and Alliance leading their groups respectively. While groups C and D have yet to play any matches so no one has taken the lead.
In the SEA region, Fnatic is leading with 9 points in Group A while Departure has taken an early lead with 3 points.
Then in the American region Complexity Gaming and Leviathan are currently tied for the lead in Group A with 3 points each, and Elite Wolves is leading Group B with 6 points.

The Nanyan Championships are getting close to their finals match. Team Secret won the Upper Bracket and has a secured spot in the finals. The Lower Bracket however still has 2 matches to be played. The first match will be teams Liquid and EHOME, and whoever wins that match will move on to fight Vici Gaming for the last spot in the Finals.
The finals match will be played this Saturday at 1am PST.

The Summit 4 is reaching the end of its regional qualifiers stage. In Europe, teams Liquid and Empire will be playing a match soon for a spot in the Playoffs, while the NiP, Vega, (monkey), Alliance, and Virtus Pro fight for the other spot in the lower Bracket.
In SEA, Fnatic awaits to fight the winner of the Signature and Mineski match for a spot in the Playoffs.
In the Americas, Root and Digital Chaos are preparing for their match, which will be sending one of the team's forward.
Then in China, Virtus Gaming and EHOME are playing for one of the two playoff spots, while NewBee, LGD, CDEC, and Invictus Gaming fight of the other spot in the lower bracket.
Two teams from Europe and China will move on to the Playoffs from this Qualifier, while SEA and America will only be sending 1 team forward.

Lastly we have the Defense Tournament, which is now it its 2nd stage of group stages. In Group A, Alliance is in first with a 1 point lead over (monkey), while Vega has a 1 point lead over everyone else in Group B with 4 points.

IN LOL NEWS (1:40:20)

The Knockout stage for the WCL is reaching its conclusion with the finals between SKTelecom and KOO Tigers to be played this Halloween at 5 am PST. (UPDATE) SKTelecom won and became the 2015 World Champion.

IN HEARTHSTONE NEWS (1:40:40)

The Hearthstone World Championships is going through its group stages this week in Preparation for the Blizzcon Playoff event. The group stages will finish October 31st.

IN CS:GO NEWS (1:41:55)

The GO Champions league has finished its group stages. Moving on to the Playoffs are teams Navi, E-Frag, Virtus Pro, DenDD, Dignitas, FlipSid3, Hellraisers, and PENTA. The Playoffs date has not been announced yet but it is expected to be in November.

The Dreamhack Cluj CS:GO tournament is underway. The teams are still progressing through the group stages. TSM has been doing a great job thus far in the Group Stages and it is expected for them to go far in this tournament.

IN HEROES OF THE STORM NEWS (1:41:36)

The first Heroes of the Storm World Championship is being debuted at Blizzcon this year. Although sharing a stage with Blizzards smallest eSports tournament, Warcraft, hype is building in the community. The teams competing are Cloud9, Dignatas, YL, GIA, Navi, DK, Bheart, and Tempo Storm. The matches will begin November 7th and will be played throughout the weekend. Look to the Blizzcon site for the schedule and stream.
