Welcome to the third chapter of Queens, Quests, and Tropes! We're excited that you're joining us for class! 👑

Follow Molly (@thebibliophileblonde), Alyssa (@alyssanwelt), as well as the podcast at (@queensandquestsandtropes) to get the latest updates on new episodes.

This week, we're taking you all to school to discuss tropes. The origin of tropes, popular tropes, how tropes have developed in fiction. We also discuss our favorite tropes, as well as the ones we don't care to read! Stay tuned to hear some inappropriate jokes (sorry Mom!) as well as, who hurt us to make us love our favorite tropes!

Be sure to come back every Wednesday for new episodes! We hope you enjoy learning more about your two, new older sisters who are ready to talk book boyfriends and fantasy novels.

Next week we will discuss the writing prompt that we posted this week!

Please pay attention to the notes in the future, as they'll let you know of any spoiler warnings.

And remember... dragons are always a good idea.

This week there are no real spoilers but we do discuss literary themes in the following novels:

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

Kingdom of the Wicked by Keri Maniscalco

Wrath of the Fae by Alessa Thorn

The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa

Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
