In today's episode of Quick Hitters, host Jordan Giorgio catches you up on Thursday Night Football's matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins. The Cowboys are looking to end a disappointing three-game losing streak and The Redskins are seeking revenge after their 33-19 loss to Dallas back in late October. The Skins battling through a ton of injuries and the Cowboys have been 0-3 without star running back Ezekiel Elliott. With the divisional win, the Redskins stand at 5-6 just like their rivals, the Cowboys.The stakes will be higher than usual tonight in this divisional showdown because of major playoff implications. The NFC is so deep and strong this year, the loser of this game will most likely have a very small chance of making the playoffs. After some shuffling around in the latest playoff rankings, we are headed into conference championship week which means we only have one more week of chaos to occur before the playoff committee makes their final selections. Our first game begins tomorrow night with Stanford taking on the USC Trojans for the Pac 12 Title. In the SEC the Georgia Bulldogs will take on No. 2 Auburn who beat Georgia in the regular season 40-17. The reigning champs, Clemson Tigers will be taking on the Miami hurricanes in the ACC championship. The Buckeyes will be battling it out with Jonathan Taylor and the undefeated Wisconsin Badgers to claim the Big 10 Title. Another rematch will be the Sooners will be taking on TCU in the Big 12 championship. In the NBA, after struggling from long range all night, Steph Curry hit two quick 3-pointers to open overtime and Draymond Green had 15 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four steals as he made countless little plays that had such a big impact as the Warriors outlasted the Lakers 127-123.
