Fred Lynn is the first player ever to hit a grand slam in an All-Star Game. In this episode, he remembers 1983’s 50th Anniversary Midsummer classic moment in which he realized what he accomplished.

Among many firsts in Fred Lynn’s career that lasted from 1974-1990, he’s the first player ever to hit a grand slam in an All-Star Game. In this episode, he remembers when he realized what he did. The AL won that game 12-2 and it was their first win in 12 seasons, and only the second victory since 1961.
