In this episode of Raising Loveliness, we’re talking all about conscious living and conscious parenting.

On a personal note, I’ll say that this is something that I never really thought about until I became a mom.

Very early on after my first child was born, I started thinking about everything I wanted for her and how I always wanted her to love herself and live a life she loved.

And when I thought about how to support her in this throughout the years to come, I realized that I wasn’t living by example. I’d kind of lived my life as a people-pleaser, doing what I thought I was “supposed” to do without loving myself or making choices that lit me up.

It was this realization that opened the door to what became years and years (and yes, it’s still ongoing) of learning to live and parent with intention.

And so I’m grateful to have this conversation with Kim Muench, a Certified Conscious Parenting Coach who specializes in working with mothers of adolescents.

Kim’s three plus decades raising five children and years of coaching other parents empowers her to lead her clients with compassion and without judgment into healthier, happier, more functional relationships.

Listen to episode 12 as we talk about:

  • What conscious parenting is (and how it can support you and your child)
  • Why Kim chose to become a parenting coach (and what parenting coaching is all about)
  • Kim’s experience in writing a book (and how she hopes it will help children and parents)

Whether Conscious Parenting is new to you or something you’ve been doing for years, I know that Kim has so much to offer and hope that this episode supports you on your journey.
