This podcast features two live pieces by local composer and noise musician Andrea Pensado. Born in Argentina and classically trained as a pianist, Andrea is one of the most extraordinary figures in the New England noise and experimental music scenes. Her performances are intense, ferocious, and extraordinary. She runs a fantastic experimental music series in Salem, MA called Sonorium. She plays two sets here an intense “noise piano” piece and a more traditional (for her) set. There is a few seconds of silence separating the two pieces. .
