Ivo started classes to become an agent at 17 and soon after getting his license began fixing and flipping. His first house he bought with a partner in 2008 for 55k and sold it for 110k netting 26K in profits that got split evenly. He has been doing between 3-5 fix and flips per year from 2008 through 2015 while also working in a family owned air conditioning/plumbing/general contracting company that his father had started in 2004. He bought 4 rentals in 2012 and 11 more in 2016 after he decided to work in real estate full time. Due to lack of inventory in the market, in late 2016 he decided, along with his sister, to go into wholesaling and began learning how to market and get properties under contract directly with motivated sellers. Their company is Phoenix Home Buyers Group and they are currently doing around 2-3 deals per month and would like to scale it to 5-7 deals by the end of the year. Their current marketing channels are PPC, direct mail, organic SEO, and some bandit signs occasionally.
