Once you are clear about what you want, you need to pay attention to who you listen to. You don’t want to fall prey to a bunch of hype or script readers. Choosing a mentor should be based on knowing where you want to be and then finding someone who is a step above that.

Aiming high will motivate you and hopefully push you beyond that level. Decide on the outcomes you want, then get out of your own way and allow yourself to be helped.
