Episode 11 features Madison Hildebrand, who began his real estate career in front of the cameras of reality television show “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles”. Not many people have their entire career and personal life scrutinized by the public eye. I had a very deep conversation with Madison as we discussed everything from his upbringing and college, a soul-searching trip to the Dominican Republic that lead him to the career path of real estate, mentorships he has had along the way, negotiation of his commission split and selection of his first real estate company, launching his career and the marketing initiatives he’s employed and organic relationships he’s built to skyrocket to top producer status within a highly competitive marketplace and zipcode. In addition to that, we discussed how he began on MDL, and the journey of living out not only the start of his real estate career, but the discovery of himself in that time – having his public life very much on display as he accepted his own sexuality and came out as a gay man in the light of the cameras and the eyes of everyone in the world. We continued as he speaks about his brand partnerships with Docusign and Leverage Global Partners, and how when he was ready to move to a new company he selected Partners Trust and became a founding partner in a new Malibu branch of the brokerage. This episode is truly special to me because I have long admired the bravery Madison has displayed through his career and public life and it was so wonderful to connect with Madison and have him share his journey.
