Mickey Trescott is a nutritional therapy practitioner, chef, blogger and author of The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook and co-author of The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook. She teaches cooking classes online and in venues around the USA.

Angie Alt is a nutritional therapy consultant as well, plus a certified health coach and author of The Alternative Autoimmune Cookbook, and co-author of The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook. She is also the creator of Sad To AIP In Six.

Join us as I ask Mickey and Angie:

* What autoimmune diseases are out there?

* At what age do they start to show up?

* What is the conventional medical therapy for such diseases?

Mickey and Angie will also chat about:

* What the Auto Immune Protocol (AIP) is.

* Their mission to bridge the gap between what they're doing and the conventional health system.

* Their favorite ingredients for a happy and healthy recipe for life!

Mickey and Angie have five autoimmune diseases between them, and also a deep knowledge of therapies for them. Their studied but common-sense approach was a pleasure to hear, as was a few little gems they shared:

“The genes load the gun, the lifestyle pulls the trigger.”

“Over 70% of the immune system is actually in our gut.”

“Are ancestors weren't using canola oil - they were not extracting oil from nuts and seeds!”
