Welcome back to the podcast! Today’s episode will be a little different because we’re NOT discussing how to lower your A1C or increase your time in range. Those are all important things and are covered in many episodes of Reclaim Your Rise, BUT today we’re focusing on mindset and self-compassion, specifically for perfectionists.

The truth is, your personality type plays a big role in managing diabetes: from your strengths, to your roadblocks, to how you *relate* to it. And, as a recovering perfectionist myself, I feel like in the T1D realm we often get the short end of the stick in receiving the type of support we need to feel better with our diabetes or to move forward in our lives.

In this episode, I’ll share five mindset reframes and journaling prompts that can help you discover the aspects of your life as a perfectionist that may be inhibiting your progress in finding freedom and peace of mind with diabetes.

We are now enrolling for the next round of the Decide and Conquer Bootcamp, our signature group coaching program for women with T1D. Spots are limited and we begin August 22nd. Learn more and apply HERE.
