This week we talk about Argentinian cricket. And luckily two men have just written a book called “Evita burned down our Pavilion” and I got one of them on to chat about it. James Coyne and I discuss how good Argentina were at cricket when they took games off MCC teams, why they were held back from Test cricket, and why the game didn’t spread like football and rugby did. We talk Evita, Plum Warner, Buenos Aires and the new rivalry coming out of Brazil versus Argentina in women’s cricket.
