A Los Angeles based Graphic Designer and Creative Director, Azerrad is the founder of LADdesign , a graphic design studio dedicated to elevating our cultural experience through good design. Since 2001 LADdesign has created graphic design and comprehensive visual identity systems for clients such as Sting, MUSE, The Silversun Pickups, Dawes, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Esperanza Spalding, Yo-Yo Ma, The Voyager Golden Record, UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, Art Power at UC San Diego, Red Bull Sound Select’s annual 30 Days Festival, Amazon Music, and seven album packages in 18 years for award-winning American alternative rock band, Wilco. Azerrad has spoken at TEDxUCLA, the AIGA National Design Conference, the Museum of Design Atlanta, and has been an instructor of design at Art Center College of Design and UCLA.
