Episode 352: The Boys are Back in Town ... Again

One of the Joes favorite shows from last year, Amazon Prime’s The Boys, the dark, and often just wrong, adaptation of the Garth Ennis comic about Superhero’s as corporate created and controlled celebrities is back for its sophomore season. For this week’s podcast Tod forced Barry and Dave to watch THREE ENTIRE EPISODES. Curiously, Amazon’s decision to drop the first three episodes at launch and then serve up the remaining shows weekly has generated more buzz than the series. Which is amazing given that one episode depicts the killing of an endangered species as a sight gag. Go figure. The guys also talk about the just released trailer for Dennis Villeneuve’s Dune, as well as past efforts at this challenging property.
